With February the 14^th fast approaching, those who haven’t already bought Valentines gifts for their loved ones are starting to panic a bit. There could be numerous reasons why you haven’t bought your gifts yet; you could be waiting for payday, or maybe you are in a fledgling relationship and you don’t know much about your partner to help you decide on a gift. Whatever your situation, here are a few tips for that last minute Valentine Gift.

Chocolates. Now don’t dismiss these as common or something you haven’t put a lot of thought into, the fact is that the majority of the population, both male and female, love chocolate. A meal out is also a good idea, as is a trip to the cinema or a takeaway at home with a nice bottle of wine. This gives the impression of you being thoughtful but not coming on too strong and scaring them away.

For long term partners it’s a lot easier, in theory. You can be as sloppy and romantic as you want but thinking of new things to buy your partner every year can be difficult. The timing of Valentines Day can come in handy if you know there was something they wanted for Christmas but didn’t get.

When it comes to redecorating your living room you should spend some time looking at design magazines and online for ideas first because you want to make sure that your endeavor turns out the way you want it too and not end up as a mess of clashing themes.

For the last few months the technology world has been ablaze with reports of the Galaxy Tab being the first real tablet that will be able to rival the iPad. The fact that it is the first Android tablet has also helped increase the anticipation for the device. The choice is vast and varied, and it can be often difficult to choose exactly what will look perfect in your room. Once you have decided how many people you want to seat comfortably comes the big decision; do you get a traditional sofa or a corner sofa.

It’s not just a simple choice of which you like best, the size and shape of your room is also vital. While you may favour the old three piece suite, this are sometimes impractical in newer homes with smaller rooms, and  the last thing you want is a room dominated by the sofa and no room for anything else. Larger rooms lend themselves to larger, individual, sofas as you have to find the find balance so your room looks neither bare nor cluttered. A corner sofa can look lost in a large room, but if you have room then two can look superb. Separate sofas can be moved around of you fancy a change, whereas a corner sofa is exactly what it says it is.

If you purchase a reversible corner sofa however, you will be able to change it around, so for example, if you have the longest seating on the left of the right angle, you can swap them over and have them in a different configuration. There is really nothing that gives a traditional sofa an edge over a corner sofa, or vice versa, and it very much comes down to the size of the room, the shape of the room and, of course, personal preference.

When it comes to being green, London is one of the leading capitals of the world with many adaptations for green eco travel continuing to become part of the main transportation infrastructure. However, outside of reducing the carbon footprint of the capital, the green trend itself is sweeping across London as organic fashion has become very popular within the city. There are designer boutiques and small shops everywhere that offer you the best choice there is in organic fashion, if you are willing to shop around a little bit for high quality clothes.

Outside of the designer boutiques, the market and street fairs are also great places to find organic fashion for low prices around London and if you can haggle you may even find better deals.
